Novel Design - Grimms' Fairy Tales

I wanted to keep the cover fairly simple by using a minimal colour palette that allows the title to stand out by using a contrasting colour from the rest. I also tried to achieve a modern feel to the cover by focusing on the values of light and dark to illustrate the wolf, this also plays into the minimal theme too.
The backside of the cover is usually white
The first page of the book that has the title, authors, and made up publisher. The publisher was created by myself to make the project feel more authentic to the eyes when you look the book over.
The information page that contains publisher, printing, design, and copyright information. Some of it was added to fill in more space which was also done for a more authentic feel since most published books have this page filled most of the way.
The contents page was kept pretty basic because I was rushing it but I think with the way it's laid out and with the fonts I used, it still turned out pretty good.
Left this page blank so that the story/chapter would start on the right side of the spread as most books do.
Fist page of the chapter/story. I didnt include the page number and header because I wanted more focus on the beginning of the new chapter/story rather than adding clutter around it. I also didn't add a drop cap but rather just had the letter stand taller than the rest so it could break out from the frame of the text and stand out more.
I made the margins 0.75in on the left, right, and bottom to create room to breathe and 1in on the top so that I could comfortably fit the page number and header in there without it feeling crowded.
When making the header I defined the variable text header as the chapter paragraph style so that it would automatically update with the most recent chapter/story name. If I had to make the rest of the book this would have been super helpful.
The last page before the back of the back cover, I would have put an advertisement for another book in here like most published books do but it wasn't required for the assignment and I also didn't have time to design one.
About the author on the backside of the cover.
Wanted to incorporate another element from the story so I added Cinderella's shoe at the top to add a little detail. I also added the designer credits and publisher at the bottom for authenticity along with a fake website above the barcode with the made up price all to make up the little details that go into a book.
